General information : John Brooke originally practiced in London and the Middle East with a City firm, then in Manchester before moving to Gamlins in December 2005. His Manchester firm was a niche commercial firm advising owner managed companies and high net worth individuals in the field of Employment and Commercial Litigation. He has handled several high profile cases, and regularly deals with cases up to the Court of Appeal. Since he arrived with us, he has continued in these areas and has expanded his practice to include commercial contracts work, including agency, joint venture, partnership and shareholder agreements. He is a founder member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Employment Lawyer’s Association.
In his spare time he goes sailing whenever he can, and enjoys country life.
